In August 2021, Blackfin acquired Huntington Apartments, a 212-unit, class B garden-style community located in Morrisville, NC. The Morrisville submarket has seen significant population growth since 2010 (152%) that is expected to continue with major economic developments on the horizon in the region. Notably, Apple recently announced that it plans to invest over $1 billion in North Carolina and will begin construction on a new state-of-the-art campus in the Research Triangle area. The campus is set to create at least 3,000 new high-paying jobs and is less than 4 miles away from Huntington. Huntington is also conveniently located near other major employment hubs such as the RDU International Airport (10 minutes), Downtown Cary (10 minutes), the Research Triangle Park (15 minutes), Downtown Durham (20 minutes), and Downtown Raleigh (30 minutes).
